Information request for local concern for Redding Close Rushden

Dear Residents,

The  Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to know if you have any information that could help us regarding an incident that happened on the 16th of February 2026 between 07:20 am and 10 am, a cat had returned to it's owner in Redding Close Rushden after being let out when upon return the owner noticed that their cat was in a state of physical distress. 

After a visit to the vets, an x ray showed that that the cat had been shot with a pellet gun and sadly as a result of the injury passed away.
